Courage

Courage is a teenage girl

Courage wakes up in the morning,

It sometimes doesn’t want to do anything.

But courage does it anyway

 

Courage is an athlete

Courage gets soar and worn out

It gets tired and has aching muscles

But courage never gives up

 

Courage is a dancer

Courage floats through life

It learns new tricks and sometimes fails

But courage makes it through

 

Courage is a gymnast

Courage flips and falls

It breaks bones and has so many fears

But courage doesn’t let that stop it

 

Courage is a person

Courage starts when we are little and gets a little bigger as we grow old

It teaches us life lessons and helps us build relationships that last a lifetime

Courage has fear just like you, but courage never gives up, it never lets fear stop it
